| The
Robotgrader The Robotgrader
has been developed to grade products of
varying weight and pack a fixed weight
straight into the package. E.g. filets
with a normal distribution
from 80-200 g. can be sorted
and packed into 600 grams trays, keeping
within the EU norm ( which states an
average weight of 600 g over the whole
batch).
The Robot Grader receives the product
weight from a scale or a line scanner.
The weight is calculated with previously
sorted products to find the best
combination within the limits. The
calculation becomes more accurate the
longer a batch is run since the system
collects data from the distribution and
know what to expect.
The product is picked on the
fly and placed according to the
programmed pattern in the package by a
robot arm. The packages e.g. trays or
thermoformed packs are fed into the
machine continuously or with stop-and-go.
The system keeps track of the weight
placed in all packs and guarantee that
the target weight is reached before the
pack is transported out for sealing.
The Robot Grader can be fitted with
optional units depending on application.
- Weighing module or laser scanner for
weight
- Sensors or visionsystem to detect
product position and orientation
- In- and out feed of packages
- In feed of products
The Robot Grader can sort and pack 120
products per minute in pattern. The
system can also reject products that are
outside the limits for size, weight or
form.
The system show current status and
statistics in the operators colour touch
panel. A network connection provides a
very convenient way of tracking
statistics and production.
All equipment is designed to withstand
industrial cleaning for open food
production.
By investing in a Robot Grader
labour costs can be dramatically reduced
and that give away to the
customer is eliminated.
