The Robot Grader has been developed to grade products of varying weight and pack a fixed weight straight into the package. E.g. filets with a normal distribution ranging from 80-200 g. can be sorted and packed into 600 grams trays, keeping within the EU norm ( which states an average weight of 600 g over the whole batch).

The Robotgrader receives the product weight from a scale or a line scanner. The weight is calculated with previously sorted products to find the best combination within the limits. The calculation becomes more accurate the longer a batch is run since the system collects data from the distribution and know what to expect.
